WHAT IS IT?

Club Chilango is a nod to Mexican slang “Chilango”, which refers to anything or anyone from Mexico City. The term, proudly embraced by locals, means more than just shared geography. At its core, being a Chilango means belonging to the city’s unique essence and vibrant lifestyle.

Although there has been some debates between who’s considered a Chilango and who isn’t, it has become an integral part of Mexico City’s identity and culture.

Chilangos have a very specific way of doing things. Such a strong way, that in other parts of the country people know and respect those ways.

One example is “Viernes Chilango”: the very respected tradition of leaving work to go to lunch, eat and drink, then kicking the weekend early.

As a true Chilango, you should know that the cheese in the quesadillas is not a default ingredient and that a simple bolillo can cure a good scare.

Chilangos also say “provechito” or “buen provecho” probably more times than one should and, of course, you know what real traffic looks like.

At Native Tongues we believe that, even if we’re miles away from Chilangolandia (a.k.a. Mexico City), we can create a community of Chilangos right here in our city.

The first step to becoming a true Chilango, is to join the Club! Members of the #CC will have early access to information about events and promos, collect points and claim rewards!

WHO IS IT FOR?

Anyone can join the Club! If you like our food, our drinks and our brand, you should be rewarded for it. And if you’re not too familiar with us, we encourage you to come in and let us take care of you and your party. Either way, this Club is our way of thanking all of you for choosing us!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1) SIGN UP

Guests receive a free taco de guisado when signing up and a free guac & chips on their 4th visit! Plus a special treat on their birthday.

2) COLLECT POINTS

Members will collect points everytime they dine with us, order take-out or make an online purchase through our website (external food delivery services such as UberEats are not applicable).

3) GET REWARDS

Once members have accumulated certain amount of points, they will be eligible to exchange those points for a dollar reward.

4) LEVEL-UP

Members will also be moving from one level to the next once they have accumulated enough points, where they will earn one-time perks on top of the ongoing benefits.
